Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC), established in 1957 under the Warehousing Corporations Act, is a leading public sector warehousing and logistics organisation under the Department of Food and Public Distribution, Government of India. CWC provides integrated warehousing and logistics services, including storage, handling, transportation, distribution and supply-chain management solutions. It operates a nationwide network of warehouses and logistics facilities supporting agriculture, food, industrial and commercial sectors. CWC also develops and manages logistics infrastructure such as container freight stations, inland container depots and specialised warehouses. With its extensive operational network and expertise, CWC contributes to strengthening India’s supply-chain ecosystem, improving logistics efficiency and supporting modern, multimodal freight movement.
